Earlier this year, our Colorado team proudly represented Mader by volunteering at Ronald McDonald House, preparing a warm, home-cooked meal for families with children receiving medical treatment nearby.
The night was part of the Home for Dinner initiative, a volunteer-based program that invites groups to cook for families facing the emotional and financial toll of a child’s serious illness. For the families staying at RMHC, a warm meal made with care can be a quiet but powerful moment of comfort.
This wasn’t the first time we’ve participated in a volunteer initiative like this, but Mader volunteering at Ronald McDonald House continues to stand out as a deeply meaningful experience for our teams. The impact of sharing a warm meal and a moment of care with families going through medical hardship can’t be overstated. From getting a glimpse into the everyday realities these families face, to sharing a laugh over the chopping boards, the experience left a lasting impression on everyone involved. Gemma, one team member shared, “It really put things into perspective, being able to help in such a small but real way. It meant a lot.”
This initiative reflects a broader part of who we are at Mader. Beyond the tools and machines, we’re about people – and supporting the communities we live and work in is a big part of that. From backing local sporting clubs and school programs to sponsoring charitable initiatives in remote regions, we’re committed to giving back in ways that matter. Read all about it here.
